Skiing and snowboarding in St Anton
Beginners:The blue pistes around Nasserein and Gampen.
5 (Osthang Einfart) is a popular run for beginners. Head to Rendl which has some easy slopes to practise on.
Intermediates:With 89% of the runs in the ski area being blues and reds, intermediates have plenty of runs to ski. Rendl is a popular choice for intermediate skiers and snowboarders as it has runs for all levels, some good restaurants and a basic snowpark.
Advanced:The most demanding runs are on the steep slopes of Schindler Kar,
2 (Kandahar) on Galzig and
R2a (Gampberg) on Rendl. If you like to cover distance, then the Valluga-UlmerHutte-St Anton run is a spectacular 10.2km.
Off-piste:Stuben and Rendl areas offer good powder with various bowls and numerous challenging routes. Hire a guide from Piste to Powder to access to the seemingly endless north facs runs from the Valluga summit.
