On the road behind the telecabine (opposite the bus stop). Newly refurbished for 2004/5 season and sister restaurant to the Le Pub Ski Lodge, La Taiga provides a more sophisticated setting for apres-ski. Leather sofas, stone walls and a fire provide a comfortable place to sample the happy hour cocktails (4-6pm).
TV screens show videos and major rugby and football fixtures. Live music at least once a week. The restaurant on the first floor provides classic French and Savoyarde dishes; monkfish stew (€15) or rack of lamb with rosemary and crozets (€19). The salmon tartiflette (€13) is excellent too. Childrens menus €12. Open 10am - 2 am, food served 12-2.30pm, 7-10pm.
