La Plagne is not as expensive as other French resorts, but when it comes to food, still expect to pay mountain prices. There are plenty of charming places to eat, though fewer places to really splash out than in some of the flashier resorts. If you are on a budget, try one of the creperies or pizzerias, or one of the fixed-price menus. The range of options on the mountain is excellent. Most restaurants are self-service, but if it is a sit-down meal that you are after, there are plenty of places serving up rustic Savoyard cuisine.
Amongst the all villages of La Plagne, Belle Plagne is probably the best for apres-ski. There are also several bars and restaurants in Plagne Centre. Nightlife in Plagne 1800 and Plagne Bellecote is limited.
