Les Arcs, France

Jan-Erik PaulJan-Erik Paul

After taking up snowboarding 10 years ago to get his ‘extreme’ fix in the winter, Jan-Erik Paul has been doing seasons across the world for the past 5 years (including La Plagne, Whistler, Serre Chevalier & Finland) when his body’s not been ‘in recovery’. When there is no snow, JP can be found either on the water kiteboarding or in the office running E-creation.co.uk, a multimedia & creative agency in Bournemouth. This season, JP will be based in Vallandry, splitting his riding between Les Arcs & La Plagne.

Verbier, Switzerland

Chocolate FreerideJosh Cohen

Josh began by racing Ottawa’s ski hills from nine to 19 years old, and quickly moved out to Whistler, BC where he worked at Surefoot learning the expertise of bootfitting. The big mountains proved to be his true calling, and after three years of Whistler’s pow, (just to be sure) Josh travelled throughout the Middle East, Europe, and East Asia, landing in Australia to open a Surefoot store. Next stop: Verbier to open yet another store and take advantage of the Alps’ endless backcountry.
