Take the Sonnenkopf gondola from the base all the way to the top. Pedestrian: Same gondola then 50m walk to restaurant and base facilities. Very good for children. Feels like an American type of resort where the restaurants chief dining area is centrally-placed for the 'Schneeland' kids activities. One of the largest in the Arlberg and thankfully separated into smoking and non-smoking areas. Deckchairs can be rented, so you can rest in the sun with a drink from the ice-bar while your kids take ski school! Not surprisingly given the large number of children who eat here, the kids' menu is comprehensive and well-priced. Choices for adults include steak (€10.90) and frankfurters (€3.50-5.50). Open 9am-4pm
