Take the Sonnenkopf gondola from base up to top then ski down Blue 1. Located on skier's right just above middle-station. No pedestrian access. Good for children. A 400-year-old barn, with a little sun-terrace and oompah music. Easy to spot, it offers a convenient break for a snack lunch; chicken curry (€6.90), wurstle (€3.50-6.90) and strudel (€3.80) are some of the most popular dishes. Run by two local ladies, they ensure you and the children have an enjoyable time, even if the food is quite simple. Open 8.30am-4.15pm. .
