For those without their own personal helicopters on demand, St Moritz is not the easiest place to get to but if you don’t fancy the long drive then the train journey is lovely, the time flies by as you gaze at the scenery and you arrive in grand style close to the centre of the resort. St Moritz is popular all year round but especially for events like the White Turf (www.whiteturf.ch) horse racing so you’ll need to plan ahead in busy times.
The most popular route to the resort of St Moritz is to fly in to the airport Swiss of Zurich 200km to the north and then to take a connecting train straight to the main line station of St Moritz itself.
