Mad Dog Ski: Ski Resort guidebooks for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland

Other activities - Verbier - Switzerland

Verbier is very much a town in its own right rather than just a hang-out for ski buffs, so should you take a day off the slopes, there is plenty to do.

For active types there is ice climbing, paragliding, nine different snowshoeing itineraries, and two 10km tobogganing runs. The sports centre provides all the usual distractions, including swimming, skating, squash and a climbing wall.
