Sledges are available to buy from hire shops and some supermarkets in the resort. Many children enjoy sledging on the slopes around maison de Tignes area in Le Lac or on the main pistes that run into Val Claret centre. It is dangerous to let children hike up the piste and sledge down when it is open so wait until 5pm when they are closed and adults and children alike, walk up as far as they can to sledge down.
