Findlerhof

Lifts: from Sunnegga Express, ski Easy Run (6) - follow sign near end of piste for Findlerhof, leave skis against the barn (stadel) and follow path. Pedestrian: from Sunnegga follow walking trail down to Findeln (30 minutes).  A superb restaurant in every way, Findlerhof is situated in the beautiful hamlet of Findeln amongst the barns (stadels), with fantasitc views towards the Matterhorn. As well as many rooms inside and several layers of terracing outside, there is also a conservatory for colder weather. The food is exemplary and Franz and Heidi themselves make sure your meal is nothing but perfect. The service is excellent; the wine carte reasonably priced and every time you eat there, you'll start to plan the next visit. Try the pot-au-feu (25chf), the beef carpaccio with asparagus and scampi (36chf) or the ravioli with herbs and truffle cream sauce (24chf). 38chf for a litre of wine.
